Patients come to Memorial Hermann from across Texas and beyond for transplant evaluations, brain and spine surgery and other care their local hospital cannot offer. These visits are scheduled weeks ahead, and a family member usually comes along to help through the procedure and the first days of recovery. A hotel in the medical center adds up quickly over a stay like that.

As soon as you have a date for the surgery or treatment. The earlier we hear from you, the easier it is to plan the room around your stay.

How long can we stay?

Up to two weeks. Stays are limited so that a room stays open for the next family who needs it.

Who may stay at Houston Mennonite Guest Home?

Adult patients receiving treatment in Houston and the adults traveling with them. We do not host children. We host short-term stays only.

How do I request a room?

Call us or send a request through the website. An innkeeper answers every request the same day, and will tell you straight away whether a room is open for your dates.
